Understanding Hair Loss: Knowledge is Power 💜✨
Hair loss can feel overwhelming and isolating, but recognizing the signs early can make all the difference in caring for your hair and scalp.
Alopecia isn’t one-size-fits-all—it can present in many different ways:
• Alopecia Areata: Smooth, circular patches of sudden hair loss.
• Telogen Effluvium: Generalized thinning, often triggered by stress, illness, or major life changes.
• Traction / Tension Alopecia: Thinning along the edges or hairline, typically from tight styling or tension.
• CCCA (Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia): Thinning starting at the crown/center of the scalp, common in textured hair types.
Remember: Hair loss is not something to hide or feel ashamed of. Awareness leads to gentle hair care, early care, and scalp wellness.
