The swampy heat is upon us. Last winter seems like a distant memory, but memories aren't the only things those cold bluster nights gave us. That's right, baby shower season is upon us. All are made from Baltic Birch which cuts like butter and is pleasing to the eye. Puzzles are finished with beeswax in case they end up in a mouth big or small. Name signs are customized with the name and topper of your choice and finished with satin lacquer.

One of the things I wanted to make when I decided to try woodworking was a chess set. Later, someone asked for checkers and these are the results The board and pieces are walnut and maple. The kings are roughly 3.5 inches tall and each piece is weighted for better balance and so they don't fall over like your drunk uncle at the family reunion. The playing surface of the board is 16x16 and trimmed in maple. The pieces were cut using a scroll saw, enough sandpaper to refinish a Studebaker, and naval levels of profanity. So whether you are looking to be kinged or to capture a king, I've got you covered.

Hey Folks,
Do you need one more thing to round out that Easter basket? Did the gift certificate for a free oil change go over poorly at the last baby shower? Don't worry, I got you covered. I'm pleased to offer handmade jigsaw puzzles. Each puzzle is cut by hand from 3/4 inch Baltic Birch plywood and finished in bee's wax, carnauba wax, and mineral oil so they are safe if they end up in someone's mouth. The dog, guitar, and locomotive are already spoken for, but the elephant, whale, penguin, bunny are still available for $16 dollars each.
