It was that time again, time to get my crafty creative bone out and make some signs for my space. My shelves were looking a little sparse. lol. It takes some time for me to complete this kind of product so I have to be in the mood, mostly because I use reclaimed lumber for my framing so there is a lot of ripping down the boards to get the size I want. lol. But I’m glad so say I am 32 signs up and ready to stock my shelves.

What can I say about these two pieces. When I brought them home I wasn’t sure at all what I wanted to do with them so I stared at them for about a month. lol. I don’t often struggle with color choices but I did with these. I asked my daughter at one point and she said, “boy, Mom, I don’t what to tell you. They are just so, plain”. lol. I agreed they had no personality for sure. So I spent 5 hours one day gluing all those little rings onto the front of the drawers, trying to give it something, and I love it! That’s when I knew what colors it needed to be. Let me know what you think.

This little charmer I picked up on MP and boy did she need some love but she shines now. She received some decorative flare on the top three drawers, new handles, new base, and one new drawer slide that was missing. I hadn’t done a black piece in a while so away I went. I just love black furniture and I know some say it’s on its way out but it will always be elegant to me. I tried to stay with the same geometric shape as the drawer fronts for the liners and I really like it.

Hey friends. Check out this newly upscaled credenza. lol. I love that word, what does it even mean? lol. It was a sad little thing when u picked it up and brought it home. My first thought was “oh, I can pop those medallions off of the doors and away we go!” Wrong. That whole insert was plastic and not popping off of there. lol. So I had to get my shakey blade out and cut them off, fill in the area and then cover with the tambour. I cut off the bottom and added a base and some hairpin legs to elevate it. Finally, the gold hardware just sets it off. I love it

These two pieces I upscaled for a client/ friend over the last couple weeks. She already had the little chest of drawers and I picked up the dresser for her on MP. Now I have always touted that I am not a stripper lol but the little chest had three coats of paint on the top so away I went and stripped the top of it’s coat of many colors. She wanted the dresser to stand taller so I built new bases for both pieces, painted and whitewashed the tops and bases to match. New hardware and wow what a difference! Turned out beautifully and she was happy.

Hey friends. This little cutie I upscaled for a client/friend who was in need of a coffee bar. She was in pretty bad shape, the piece not the client. Lol Feral mice had chewed her legs off, 😆 so I amputated them and built a new base for her. I love this piece not only because it turned out so well but because of the top. It is a rough textured raw sort of top that gives it so much character. Love it!

Hey friends. It’s been a minute. I’ve been busy with my Dad. So I picked these little beauties up at a yard sale and they were in desperate need of some love. So I went to work and boy did they turn out beautifully! I was going for a beachy/ lake vibe with the white washed tops and gorgeous smoky blue bases. I almost painted the tops but I just couldn’t cover up those great inlays. They are so beautiful! I love how they turned out. So if you know if anyone looking for nightstands have them message me.

Hey friends. I picked up this cute little table down in Ar and you know how it is, you get somewhere and there is a certain amount of pressure to just buy what you have driven an hour to see. lol. So I got it home and discovered that there had been a small child who had colored with orange marker under it and all over the legs. I could not get it off so since the legs were distressed I distressed some more the rid it of the marker. But then it was just too busy, too much going on with the old barn wood look of the top. So time to cover. lol. I had to do some repair to the top, after a good cleaning, which aloud me to go in with some black stain to add some depth and I liked it. The chairs were already black except for the seats so easy enough, painted those and distressed and gosh I just love it. It turned out so cute.

Now this pairing I did for my great niece. Her Momma text me and asked if I had any dressers and sure enough I had just started on them. She asked what color I was doing them and I told her if she wanted them they can be whatever color she wanted. Lol So black/distressed is what K decided and they turned out so pretty I’m tempted to keep them for myself. lol.

I have been working away and I haven’t been good about posting as a I go so you’re going to get a few. lol. I picked this piece up at a yard sale and it was really sad but now she is beautiful! lol. I promise I am going to branch put on some colors. I just love this sage green. I added some trim and drawer liners and boy it made all the difference.
