LOON WATCH ON BBL
Per the DNR, all forms of watercraft should remain 200 feet from nesting loons and when the chicks hatch. Water craft should be at least 150 feet from the loons when in the water after hatch. Also, in both instances approaching loons should be considered “low wake zones”.
