Hi YoFans,
Facebook has announced that it will be shutting down its Canvas Gaming platform at the end of September 2026. While this isn’t a change we control, it does mean that all Canvas Games hosted on Facebook — including YoWorld — will no longer be playable there once the platform closes.
We know this news sounds scary, but don’t worry, YoWorld isn’t going anywhere! All of your account progress will continue to be accessible through our official website: YoWorld.com.
To make sure you can continue playing after the Facebook Canvas shutdown, you’ll just need to link your game account to an email address:
🏡 YoWorld players:
Please go into your in-game Settings, then head to the Account tab. Add your email to the Support Email section of the Account settings.
If you already have an email address set up in that section, please ensure it’s an email address that you still have access to.
If not, you can update it by clicking the red “Remove” button to remove your email address, then add a new email address and click “Update”!
Once your email is set up, you can migrate your account to YoWorld.com using that same email to keep playing YoWorld.

Please take a few moments to set your email up soon, so that your account, your progress, and your items will all move with you when Facebook’s platform closes.
