Alex Malouf Sr. opened Malouf Furniture in 1946. Mr. Malouf saw the need for a store where people could buy quality furniture at fair prices and with great service. This idea has never changed.

In 1978, Alex Malouf Jr. built a much larger store in Greenwood. It has been enlarged over the years to its present size of thirty-two thousand square feet of showroom space. Malouf Furniture encompasses three hundred room settings which include a furniture design studio, rug gallery, motion and home theater, mattress gallery, art, lighting and accessories. We partner with Hunter Douglas to offer the finest window treatments available.

In 2000, Gardner Malouf took his grandfather’s original concept and expanded it to Foley, Alabama where he operates out of ninety thousand square feet of showroom and warehouses. The popularity of Malouf Furniture has continued to grow on the gulf coast.
