Color schemes change everything.

It changes the mood, feel, and emotional response of a space.

The key is to decide on what emotions you want to feel while you're in a space.

Then choose your color scheme based on what emotions come to mind.

A great exercise is to look at kitchens that are very different and try to put a label on the emotions you experience.
