For the longest time, we stayed behind the work.
We shared spaces, ideas, late nights, installations, and all the moments that go into building a studio but rarely ourselves. And we realized that many of the people who support, follow, and work with us may not actually know who is behind Monomid.

We’re the people behind the sketches, site visits, furniture sourcing, creative chaos, endless revisions, and all the conversations that slowly become spaces people feel connected to.

Monomid started with a simple belief: design should feel personal, emotional, and lived-in. We’ve never been interested in creating spaces that just look good in photos. We care about atmosphere, feeling, comfort, mood, and creating environments that people genuinely want to spend time in.

Over the years, this studio became more than a design practice for us. It became a reflection of our experiences, our backgrounds, our obsessions with furniture, materials, travel, hospitality, and the way spaces can quietly shape everyday life.

We’ve been lucky to work on homes, offices, creative spaces, and projects with incredible people from different parts of the world and somehow many of you found us here along the way.
So we thought it was finally time to properly introduce ourselves and say thank you for being here.
Whether you’ve followed us for years, recently discovered our work, collaborated with us, or simply enjoy what we create. We truly appreciate it!

This is us.
And we’re very happy to finally say hello.

There are rooms where you instantly envision the design the moment you walk in. This office at 75 Columbia Heights was one of them. The vintage collectible pieces incorporated throughout this office were inspired by the architecture of this unique brownstone.

The most exciting part was collaborating with . We wanted to give his artistic vision complete freedom, with no limitations, and let it become part of the story of this space.

The end result is something we feel genuinely connected to. Staged for
