Looking back through some old photos today.
This seems a lifetime ago. Wow! As a designer, you have inspirations, things catch your eye...the next thing, if all the stars align, this happens! My partner and very talented furniture designer, Pat Henley and I developed this collection. Park Terrace- simple occasional tables made from cast architectural parts we found in a Lawler Foundry catalog! The Lane Company brought it to life. So easy and one of the most successful product designs I have ever been a part of creating!

Feeling nostalgic today after posting some photos of our farm yesterday.

It was great fun and a challenge creating this space. Warm, safe, full of joy, love, enduring friendships...and hard work. Oh so worth it! Grateful for every moment.

Making our stories relatable...
Horses and barns and veggie gardens are passions. For over 15 years our family lived on a small farm outside of town with horses, a barn and a garden...A slice of heaven.
Times change, circumstances change, life takes a different turn, but Inspiration...is still all around us.

Inspiration is never far away...
The beach has always been my “runaway” of choice. Time of the year or circumstance doesn’t matter. The vastness of sky and sea and sand feed me. Even in my imagination, when feelings of confusion, fear, anxiety take over, picturing myself walking in the surf brings me peace and a new perspective. Amazing what we can create in moments of stillness...

Holy Cow! Every corner of my office is a mess. Has been since my trip to Indonesia. Actually, it mostly looks like this. I can’t lie. Good thing I’m the only one that works in here! It’s Friday and I have been trying to file sketches and organize-since we all have a little more time these days...but rediscovering old ideas and triggering new ones makes it quite the PROCESS!
