Fish Tales came in for some service and upgrades.

We completely tore down the playfield to do a thorough cleaning and waxing. Replaced all the bulbs with Comet L.E.D.

Flippers were rebuilt.

Silicone bands installed.

The motor drive belt for the multi-ball lock replaced.

Driver board was completely rebuilt with all new caps and bridge rectifiers, replaced 1 tip 102 at Q50 that was causing f4 fuse to blow. The driver board otherwise had no previous repair work done to it ever. Completely untouched.

Repinned the alkaline damaged connectors for the switch lines on the MPU, and installed a NVRam.

Replaced the display with an updated L.E.D. one.

Once all that was finished we re sleeved solenoids under the playfield and cleaned/adjusted all switches for maximum response.

Now we are just waiting for new slingshot plastics to replace the chipped ones, and then the machine is ready to go home!

This is one of the cleanest Fish Tales I have ever had the pleasure of working on.

We have been somewhat silent on social media recently, however we have been busier than ever with customer service and restorations which has left little time for posting.

The summer months are typically the slowest in the service area but the past few years this has been the complete opposite-increasing each year. I just wanted to take the time to thank all of our loyal customers, past and present. No matter how small or large the job, we cover all the bases from minor repairs, to shop outs, to full on restorations including stenciling, applying new decals, and the ever time consuming playfield swaps.

We are awaiting some inventory to hit the floor for restock, and are still working away 5-6 days a week on customer machines and our own inventory.

If you have any questions or inquiries, please reach out directly via e-mail, Facebook messenger, or by phone. Our standard business hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday, and weekends by appointment.
