This may not be a popular move… but I took apart an antique sewing table 😬. I wanted more storage in my guest bathroom and something with real character. Now it has a second life as two unique storage pieces instead of sitting unused. My neighbor made the tops for me and I screwed on cute little legs.

This cute little bench was feeling a bit too mono-toned with the straw top, wood legs, and wood floors all blending together. Painting the legs black gave it just enough contrast and made it pop. The before photo is in the comments, along with a pic showing how it fits into the rest of the room.

Rare Burl Walnut!
Buffet or dresser – this stunning statement piece in rare burl walnut with hand-carved scrollwork has been completely refinished and is ready for a new home.

Every detail was carefully restored with patience and precision. After taping off every inch of the wood details (too many rolls of painter’s tape to count!), I used a spray gun finish—so the surface is smooth and flawless, with no brush marks.

✨ Features:
• Original wood details highlighted and protected
• Bookmatched burl walnut veneer on the drawers – rare and elegant
• Diamond-matched walnut veneer arranged in a chevron pattern on the inset panels
• Intricate carved fan-and-scroll border, a hallmark of Jacobean Revival craftsmanship
• Top has been sealed for durability and everyday use
• Interior has been stained and sealed for a finished look
• Drawers are solid, smooth, and in excellent condition
• Added interior shelving for extra storage
• Smooth-rolling wheels for easy movement
• Hardware chosen to complement the era and style of the piece
• Fresh black paint: Benjamin Moore Advance Satin pre-mixed black (hard water-based acrylic)
• Stained in red oak with a gloss polyurethane finish

📜 History & Style:
This buffet was originally crafted in the 1920s–1930s, blending Jacobean Revival charm with subtle Art Deco influences. The bold turned legs, carved details, and burl walnut veneers were hallmarks of that era, when pieces like this were the centerpiece of dining rooms and built to last for generations. The updated finish brings out its timeless elegance while making it practical for modern use.

📏 Dimensions: 27” H × 16” D × 22” L

This 50-year-old solid pine end table has been completely transformed with a modern, upscale look. Unlike today’s flimsy particle board pieces, this one is built to last—and now features designer finishes that make it one-of-a-kind.

🔹 Details that make it special:
• Solid pine vintage table – sturdy and built to last
• Luxury brass k***s – high-end expensive umbrella shell design, jewelry for furniture

• Designer wallpaper lines the drawers for a custom touch
• Professional sprayed finish – Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee in Advance Satin, applied with a paint gun for a flawless, durable enamel coat

💎 Why it’s worth it:
• This isn’t a cheap flat-pack piece—it’s solid wood with high-end upgrades.

✨ Customized for Ms. Penny Holt ✨
Twelve-year-old Penny already has a stunning Art Deco dresser and bed, but she was missing the perfect nightstand to complete her set. Her mom mentioned that Penny wanted one, so I went on the hunt — and what a find! This waterfall nightstand from the 1930s–40s has burl walnut veneer and original amber hardware that ties beautifully with her existing pieces. It’s going to be a complete surprise for Penny when she sees it!

I painted the top, sides, and pinstripe in an off-white, while leaving the rich burl walnut and tiger-striped veneer exposed on the front to showcase the craftsmanship of its era. Waterfall furniture was the height of Art Deco style, known for its curved edges, striking veneers, and glamorous hardware. I even added an extra interior shelf to make it as functional as it is beautiful.

Now Penny’s teen dream bedroom set is complete! 💜 A timeless piece for a girl just stepping into her teen years.

Paint: Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore Advance Satin

Gifted to my adult son, Grant ♥️
Long after I’m gone, these will remain,
Holding my love in every grain.
A mother’s hands shaped what you see,
So you’ll always feel a part of me.

These Henkel Harris Virginia Galleries mahogany nightstands were restored with love and care. The wood was sanded and re-stained, spindles carefully taped off to contrast with the paint, and the finish meticulously sprayed for a smooth, brush-free look. The original hardware remains as a nod to their history.
• Paint: Benjamin Moore Advance Satin in pre-mixed black
• Stain: Red Mahogany
• Finish: Gloss Polyurethane

Made from genuine mahogany, these timeless pieces will last for generations—just as my love for Grant will. Check out the before photo in the comment section to see the transformation.

A gift for my son’s adulthood, built with the same care, strength, and love that helped shape the man he is today.

Customized for Mr. Sam Holt 🖤
Sam’s mom reached out to me and said they were looking for a dresser for him. Together, we searched FB Marketplace and found an old dresser that was just the right size and shape. From there, Sam chose the paint color, stain color, and approved the hardware — and I took over the transformation!

From 50 year old rustic yellow pine to dark & sophisticated, this dresser is now ready to welcome 16-year-old Sam into adulthood.

✨ The before photo in the comments shows just how unbelievable the transformation is.

Sold: Headed to Chicago, IL 🌿✨
This vintage what-not stand got a fresh new life. Traditionally, these stands were used in the late 19th and early 20th century to display cherished keepsakes, plants, or books—hence the name “what-not.” The turned spindles and tiered shelves make it perfect for modern plant styling while honoring its classic history.

For this piece, I taped off the spindles before painting so the original wood grain could still shine through as an accent. The contrast gives it depth while keeping some of its antique charm.

Details:
🎨 Paint: Sherwin Williams Emerald Acrylic in Vogue Green
🌰 Stain: Provincial
✨ Finish: Semi-gloss Polyurethane

From dated brown to a rich, jewel-toned beauty—now ready to brighten up its new home! 💚

SOLD – Headed to Mendham, NJ!
I took apart another antique vanity and transformed it into two end tables. Matching pairs of antique end tables can be tough to find, but vanities make the perfect starting point for creating a true pair.

For this set, I polished up the original hardware and kept the casters intact. I left plenty of the beautiful wood grain showing and paired it with a crisp black for contrast and a touch of modern pop.

✨ Paint: Benjamin Moore Advance Satin, premixed black
✨ Finish: Gloss polyurethane

Another old piece given a fresh new life! 🖤

SOLD – Antebellum Blue on Wheels! 💙✨ This piece has my heart! It started as my brother’s childhood pine dresser, and after a full transformation it’s ready for a new life. After a good sanding, the pine took Dark Walnut stain beautifully. I added vintage brass pulls and industrial-style wheels, making it both stylish and practical. From its roots as a simple pine dresser to this one-of-a-kind statement piece, I’m in love with how it turned out.

✔️ Paint: Antebellum Blue (Dixie Belle color matched to Sherwin Williams Emerald Satin )
✔️ Stain: Dark Walnut
✔️ Finish: Gloss Polyurethane

Another piece reimagined and rehomed! 💙
