It's with a heavy heart and endless happy memories that we share the passing of Sue Needle, CTT icon and head counselor of senior girls for generations. Timber Tops girls of all ages will remember Sue as force of nature, strict but fair and endlessly loving. She earned the respect and adoration of every camper and counselor and especially doted upon the CAs who came to adore her more and more each year. Today's CA program serves as a lasting legacy to her leadership.
Timber Tops girls of all ages will think of Sue Needle when they tuck in the hospital corners on their beds, stand with their shoulders back and chest out, organize drawers with creases out, clean a shower house with a tooth brush, and look for "the whites of eyeballs" in a crowd. There was no one quite like Sue Needle.
From the top of Sue's Hill, dedicated to her, to the start of the Winding Road, Sue's legacy will live on at CTT.
May her memory be a blessing and may the many lives she touched at camp, keep her light shining.
