Absolutely stunning quartered Red Oak. I kid you not - these boards came out of a dumpster at a courthouse in Nebraska that was being renovated. They date from the 1900s. We’re using them for drawers and details on a Greene and Greene inspired pair of nightstands.

Our amazing and talented neighbor (take a minute and check out her beautiful leather work and purses) takes time out of her insane schedule to bake DELICIOUS cookies and candy for the whole neighborhood! We love this place!!

Quick neighbor favor job! She ordered a lift kit for her new Jeep and apparently they come in a cool little crate. She asked us if we could make it into an end table for her. Massive coat of urethane on the top to seal in those splinters!!!

Big day at Bench Dog yesterday! Our massive .woodworking TS29 arrived. After over half a century of service our Green Powermatic 26 will become Shaper Emeritus. Also had a visit from after they knocked down a grass fire on our neighbors farm.

Fun and challenging project for fantastic clients in Fort Collins. We updated and reinforced their bed frame and created a new upholstered headboard with a beautiful fabric provided by our client. I was able to salvage some of the veneer from the old headboard to lay over the new upper frame. .louise.caballero did an amazing job with the upholstery!

Delivered Friday! Awesome day bed lounge for a fantastic client in Longmont CO. She built this really cozy enclosed space in her yard and asked us to create a White Oak day bed/sofa frame for her. We’re pretty proud of the results!
