We have been hard at work and made our very first cabinet using our new CNC machine and all the other “toys” for building the highest quality cabinets. So excited to really ramp up soon! ✝️ Fresh Start's two-fold mission is something that is very near and dear to our hearts. This is one of the things that makes us unique and sets us apart from other cabinetry businesses! Once production is up and running, we will be able to provide a mentorship program that will allow individuals who have struggled with life-controlling issues to work alongside a mentor to help guide them in learning a new skill and keep them accountable in their daily life choices. We truly hope to make an impact and are excited to offer this opportunity to our community!

MEET THE TEAM -- Help us give a warm welcome to our Production Lead, Dennis Morrison! Dennis has been with our team for several months now, working hard behind the scenes to help get our new business up and ready for fulfilling orders. In addition to producing and shipping cabinet orders, Dennis is also a pastor and will help support individuals in our mentorship program. Dennis lives in Great Bend with his wife, Vanity, and their family. Welcome to the Fresh Start Woodworks team, Dennis!

Shop space is coming right along! This Wednesday we meet with the panel of judges for the Great Bend Economic Development competition to see if we can advance to the final round. 🤞🏻Fingers crossed!

We’ll be up and running in late September, and this grant funding would help us buy the last pieces of equipment we need to provide good paying jobs and to meet high demand for quality cabinetry in the state of Kansas!
