DID YOU KNOW: Our company was founded in 1889 originally under the name H.B. Feather Co.? The H.B. stood for “hot blast,” a revolutionary new technology of the time to inject down feathers into mattresses. Later in the 1920s, we changed our name to Grand Rapids Bedding, under which we’ve continued to make in for 136+ years, and counting.

Talk about a “hot blast” from the past!
