another found cottage mercantile in the books 🤎

we could probably say “thank you” a hundred different ways and still not fully express how grateful we are for this market, the people behind it, and everyone who continues to show up for us year after year.

a huge thank you to the entire found cottage mercantile team for all of the countless hours, planning, work, and behind-the-scenes magic that goes into making this event what it is. you create something really special, and we’re so grateful to be a small part of it.

and to our customers — thank you. thank you for walking into our little booth, for chatting with us, for bringing friends, for finding something you love, for coming back year after year, and for supporting our little family business. seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones is genuinely one of our favorite parts of these weekends.

we’re incredibly grateful for the people, the community, the memories, and the opportunity to keep doing what we love.

The Found Cottage Mercantile YEAR FIVE 🫪🙌🏼

we were looking back at some of our booths from the last few years and had to put together a little slideshow for you all 😆

our first show was in 2022, and seeing that first booth next to where we are now is honestly WILD 😅

five years of figuring it out, changing things up, making bigger booths, bringing more stuff, and somehow always finding a way to fit one more thing in the truck 🤣

we CANNOT WAIT to share with you what we’ve been working on for this years space!

happy saturday! this upcoming week is officially time for one of our favorite parts of the year… the The Found Cottage Mercantile market in holland, mi 🥰

alex and caleb have been in market prep for months and this week all of their hard work will be headed to market 💕 in order to get our booth set up and ready, elle & l will have adjusted hours of 10-4 monday (8/31) to friday (9/4)

we appreciate your support and understanding and the store will return to regular hours on saturday 9/5! thank you all for your endless support and we are excited to once again share our booth and silly market moments with you all 💕☀️

for the last few months, i’ve been a little quieter than usual… and for good reason.

between running elle and l, growing little gatherings, and everything life has thrown our way, i’ve been working toward something i’ve wanted for a long time.

i’m officially a licensed real estate agent. 🏡🙌🏼

real estate has been on my heart for a while now, and after months of studying, early mornings and late nights i’m so excited to finally share this with all of you.

none of this would’ve been possible without the incredible people in my corner. my beautiful wife has poured her heart into elle and l from day one, and alongside our amazing manager and team, they’ve continued making the shop the special place it’s become while i chased this goal.

the more i thought about it, the more i realized this next chapter isn’t as different from the last as it might seem. at the heart of both careers is the same purpose: people. whether i’m helping someone find a home they’ll build their life in or playing a small part in the memories families make through our shop and event space, i love being part of life’s meaningful moments.

i feel incredibly grateful that i get to do both.

this is a new chapter, and i’m so excited to see where it leads. if you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just have questions about the market, i’d be honored to help—or simply be a resource.
