Clark Lane Studio

Clark Lane Studio Artisan made décor & gifts I have been in business since 1997. In the beginning I was interested in stenciling my walls, which was big in the 90's.

I found the process to be tedious and boring so I taught myself to hand paint designs on walls and furniture. Soon I was doing custom work for friends and family. That led to selling wholesale in many local stores. It wasn't long before my work was being sold across the US and in Europe. My surfaces have changed over the years, from furniture to glass and now wood. As an artist you must change wit

h the times. So with my husbands help I learned how to use power tools to craft my surfaces. Once, they are ready the fun begins, I paint each piece by hand. What I love most is that each shelf sitter is slightly different much like nature and unlike mass production. These little guys add a touch of whimsy to any décor or in a home or office and make great gifts too. You will find my products not only online, in retail stores but at local artisan shows as well. I feel that my online store allows me the most artistic freedom because I can continue to add more designs to my bestselling line, my rustic shelf sitters. I spend every day in my studio because it is where I feel most at peace. My hope is that you find comfort and joy in my work as much as I find comfort and joy in sharing it with you.

The weather is supposed to be warm and sunny.

Mother’s Day has passed but you can still treat yourself to something beautiful.

Come see what’s new!

I’m watching my weather app like a hawk. I keep hoping it’s wrong and it won’t rain all day Saturday for my show at the Granby Preservation. So I keep checking all these different weather reports to find one I like.
They all say something different…. but still rain. Grrrr

I’m thinking about having a live sale on FB if the show is canceled.
I’ve never done one before but it might be fun. What do you guys think?
