✨Antique refresh✨

I had a friend bring me this antique cabinet they happened to pick up a while back. It was filled with dirt, pine needles, and it had a distinct orange tone to it. Not to mention the top was lifting off and broken and the front laminate was barely hanging on.

So in my “free time”, I repaired it and got it cleaned up. They wanted to keep the integrity of the antique and not paint it, so we white washed with a pickling stain just to eliminate the orange and gave it a matte clear coat.

Now it is ready for their kitchen coffee station…it’s marble top perfection and the old laminate keeping its character.

Last week I had a client drop off this precious table and chairs in hopes that I could get it renewed for their kitchen upgrade. It had previously been in the client’s childhood home and had been painted. This time, we wanted to strip the old paint, get it a crisp creamy white base and chairs, and stain the top. She turned out perfect. 🤩

Take the time to do it right. Keep the memories. Your old furniture is built far better than most things made today. 🩷

✨New client, New kitchen✨

It all started with a quick consultation, discussion about colors and pricing, and the next thing we know, this kitchen and laundry room is fully transformed.

After the new tile and counters arrived, I stepped in to douse these cabinet boxes and new doors and drawers with Anew Grey by Sherwin Williams.

If you want an updated look, a coat (or a few) of paint is all you need to totally change your kitchen’s design. If you want to do your kitchen in a long weekend’s time and still be able to use it, or even have me come in while you are away at the lake…now is the time to book for summer time!
