Unique to TPC is its signature “Time Table” series—tables that feature a customizable clock face that displays the important times (and dates) of our lives: births, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, retirements…anything that marks something important to to you. Welcome! So thankful you found me! Having used latex paint all my life, when I discovered chalk and milk paints I was introduced to a whole new creative expression. Safe for the environment (they are low-VOC), entirely natural and with an ability to provide endless possibilities for creating washes, glazes, distressing, and interesting detail...I'm constantly surprised by the beautiful new things I can create with this one family of paint. What makes milk paint so unique? It soaks into natural wood like the finishes you would find on old, painted antiques. And on second coats, it often flakes in random patterns, giving it an authentic, aged finish…or as I like to say, a unique "crackled goodness" that looks different from piece to piece! On the other hand, and as you'd imagine, chalk paint provides a unique "chalky" finish. It can be layered by using washes and dry brushing so that a wonderful depth of color can be achieved. Both paints can be finished to a lovely warm luster, using dark, clear, or white waxes. Combining this artistry with my lifelong passion for antiquing, I enjoy searching for vintage pieces to repurpose and bring back to life.
