MCM dresser made by Beals Furniture Company, once located in Portland , Maine. The craftsmanship is high-quality, solid wood with dovetailed joints in the drawers.

This piece has been refinished with a light paint wash in Fusion Mineral Paint, color Algonquin.

Newly refinished vintage waterfall dresser. This solid wood beauty had a crumbling, flaky finish that was begging to be scrapped off. A walnut gel stain was applied to the top, the first two drawers and all the handles. Dixie Belle’s In The Navy, a rich captivating dark navy blue that is reminiscent of the deep sea, was applied to the remainder of the dresser. The drawers have been nourished and brought back to life with bees wax and orange oil.

This piece was rescued from a thick layer of black paint, sanded down, painted with a tan wash and had an antique glaze rubbed in to enhance the wood grain and details on the legs. Three coats of water based polyurethane have been applied for durability and protection.
There are two drawers and a bottom shelf for ample storage.

Elegant nightstands repurposed from a vintage waterfall vanity. They have been painted in Dixie Belle’s Thicket, a moody, moss inspired green that brings nature indoors. A warm, brown wax has been applied for durability, adding depth and texture to each piece. This color pairs beautifully with warm neutrals and rustic finishes for a modern take on vintage charm.
These nightstands have been distressed to show hints of wood and to showcase the nicks and bumps acquired over time, adding vintage charm.

This stunning cabinet was hiding underneath six layers of paint! After extensive stripping, scraping and sanding, the natural wood grain was revealed….an antique gel stain was applied to the exterior and shelves, then sealed with several coats of polyurethane. The interior has been lined with a whimsical botanical wallpaper featuring some adorable birds nestled in the foliage.

A variety of brushes were used to create the faux wood finish. The dresser has been sealed with 3 coats of water based polyurethane for a durable finish. There are 4 dovetail drawers, 2 large bottom drawers that offer ample storage and 2 smaller drawers along the top. All drawers have been lined with a whimsical botanical and bird print.

This vintage China cabinet has been modernized with a soft tan paint wash over the exterior. The interior is a custom gray tint from Dixie Belle chalk paint that has been slightly distressed to show hints of wood throughout. The cabinet offers ample storage space, including two upper glass doors with two wooden shelves inside. It includes a dovetail drawer with solid wooden sides. Behind the lower doors, a wooden shelf provides additional storage. The interior has been sealed and buffed to a shine with DB wax. The exterior has bees sealed with a water based polyurethane.

Stripped in its entirety with all imperfections repaired, this piece was then refinished using Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint in Caviar- a deep and rich black, and was then sanded smooth and sealed with Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax.

The front legs and shelving were stripped down, sanded and stained with a rich walnut. The back has been lined with a textured wallpaper in matte black.

This would also be a unique piece to display china or vintage linens.

Refabbed Vintage China hutch with serpentine drawers. The exterior of this solid wood cabinet has been painted with Dixie Belle chalk paint in custom blended colors for a dark and moody vide. The interior is a matte black to complement the rich gray exterior. The backdrop of the cabinet is a textured wallpaper in the same matte black. The hardware is vintage brass and ceramic.

The inside shelves have been sealed with a water based polyurethane and the outside buffed with wax for a supple shine. All three drawers pull smoothly and have been buffed and polished inside and out.

This piece is quite versatile….
