Salem Architectural Woodworking, LLC

Salem Architectural Woodworking, LLC Custom cabinetry and millwork A Massachusetts native, Paul’s work is displayed locally throughout the Boston area, predominately in the North Shore.

Since 1978, Salem Architectural Woodworking proprietor Paul Guido has built a reputation as a gifted craftsman and dedicated manager with a proven ability to visualize the end product, motivate teams to peak performance, and ensure the meeting of critical deadlines. He has applied himself to every area of the trade, from architectural woodworker and cabinetmaker, to construction and project superv

isor, to project manager. Paul brings vast industry awareness, knowledge and skill to every new endeavor. From the beginning of a project to its end, Paul has adeptly walked through each step of a commission, providing cost estimation, troubleshooting potential questions prior to installation, providing superior craftsmanship, communicating design intent to installers, maintaining quality control, and offering critical problem-solving skills. Paul began as a woodworker in Medford, Massachusetts, building custom windows and doors, reception desks and solid surfacing. In his spare time, he began to build a business from home, designing and constructing counters, entertainment centers, and kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, while advising clients on style and cost-effective designs. Learning advanced specialty millwork, Paul helped to construct the prestigious 30-foot radius book return desk, with its graciously-curved panels, that now greets library patrons at the Harvard University Widener Library. Over the past 10 years, Paul has expanded upon his craftsmanship to include project managerial roles, supervising projects and installers, as well as working more closely with clients, designers and general contractors. With an eye for quality control and an awareness of critical deadlines, Paul is known for his unflagging diligence to deliver exceptional products for his clients.
