This stunning combo combines design fabrics from , and some gold and brass accents. another one I started close to five years ago and recently finished. It’s the first one I did with a lid closure! (although the lid closure needs to be a bit redefined moving forward) The outside panels are hand stitched and the rainbow thread works so well with this fabric.. 🌈 everything for sale..

Did this kick ass old-school style Seat for looking he made one of the nicest seat pans I’ve ever had! everything was nice and symmetrical which makes my task that much easier. We went with a real rich buttery soft Leather from laid out some diamonds to fit this narrow seat, which only measures 4 inches in the back! Topped with some nickel over brass studs from to keep a traditional vibe going on throughout his whole build.. picture of his chopper is on the last scroll. It turned out pretty damn cool! grateful to be a part of it.

this bags pretty classy. I Decided to get a little unconventional with the outside fabric as it’s asymmetrical in design! It was done in materials in and out! with some nickel over brass hardware, a small outside pocket and a chain which can be used to hold yours keys! along with one inside pocket! And medallions. Can also be worn as a Crossbody bag with chain. Both sides are identical. doesn’t matter if you’re black or white.$550 if anyone is interested.

These chairs were for an old customer! They were her mothers And in need of a new stylish makeover. They originally started out with a very worn 70s vibe fabric and dark stained wood. We completely tore down the chairs of all the old innards, Then stripped the frames of their old stains as best they could to make way for the nice new semi white wash finish!
Went off an old dresser drawer of hers to try and get as close as possible to that. it really complement the really nice off-white suede Crypton

We swapped out snake springs for nice coil springs! The way the chairs really should be.
I also fixed/sanded down some of the hight points on the frame so the outside cord lays nice and flat! And no imprint on the outside arms which you can kinda see in the very last picture.

sometimes these old frames are a bit out of true. There’s a lot of work that’s unseen (in all of Upholstery) And a lot of small type details that help tie everything together And make for a fantastic end result.. they turned out really great and she was very happy them..

half-tuft. The whole frame got lightly sanded and re-coated as well. Done in and is pretty much a silk!! This chair is one of my favorites.

Well since the van got delivered I will post some pictures.. I did the seat pads and six window covers that are fully magnetic. This Quigley van is outfitted from head to toe. Neil & the guys did a fantastic job making/ fabricating everything from head to toe. thanks again for the small part in this build.

So I normally wouldn’t post just a small cushion, but I was pretty honored to have been contacted by thee “George Nakashima” woodworking in new Hope PA to do this little cushion for one of their stools after they saw one of the chairs I did for “fab dubrunfaut”that sits in the modern Gallery in Philadelphia where Nakashimas work is as well.

they’re trying to look for somebody to do some of their work! As their Seamstress is getting up in age.
Now I don’t know if this will ever amount to anything more but I thought it was pretty cool and thought I would share..

And for the people that don’t know that name!
it’s pretty significant.

I’ve only shown little bits and clips of this chair in story’s but I can finally show the whole thing. It's the Åuhus City Hall chair! There was a lot of sculpting done on the cushion! normally it doesn’t sit contoured to the frame and that’s not something that I could leave alone. The front sits at 2 1/2 inches thinned down to about an inch and five eights to fit the frame just perfect! Done in for samdinavia

So I can post some pictures now that I got some good shots sent to me. This chair is the Bwana Chair by Finn Juhl for France and Son, Denmark, c. 1962. It has been completely in for The arms on this chair are the smallest band i’ve ever sewn up in all my years at 5/8 with no ply-grip, And kinda challenging.
