The Higley Barns is a passion project that is about to breathe new life into the Old Potato Barn and the surrounding areas that once made up the old town of Higley. This exciting adaptive re-use project will maintain the original 1966 landmark building that was originally a warehouse for potatoes bound for the adjacent railroad. In the 90’s it became an iconic local furniture store, but has since lay dormant, waiting for its next incarnation. Joining the original barn will be additional buildings that will collectively create a community gathering space full of restaurants, shops, home products and family-friendly events. We envision that it will become the go-to spot for folks to embellish their home as well as relax and enjoy time with friends, family, and out-of-towners.
