The end of a chapter to the next…
Today is our last day as a store 🥹 in our building on Germann and Lindsay, and the sun will set on a beautiful journey of 8 years at the close of this chapter.
We are so grateful to our Landlord at EastGroup for giving us a beautiful space we have called home for Furniture Brat the past 5 and a half years at this location.
Our hearts are full of gratitude as we close the store and move into a new beginning for Furniture Brat online.
We celebrate what we have created together and look on towards a new horizon for the future of Furniture Brat online.
We can’t thank you all enough for building a friendship with our family, for the support to our store, sharing the laughs, the tears, the struggles, the loss of loved ones, the ups, downs and everything in between. The memories of long talks in our breakroom, the pancake and French toast breakfasts, the lunches brought in by so many of you who went from customers to friends for life, and mostly, for the prayers shared for strength in health, hope and happiness.
Tears fall as I write this post with a heart full of love for so many of you we will miss. We hope we will get to see you out and about. We will keep you posted with the online launch and plan to stay in touch both on social media and emails to stay connected. And hey, We may take some of you up on learning how to play pickle ball after all. 🥰🙏🏼🤷🏽♀️❣️

Come by if you’re in the area. The following week will be lots of cleaning and packing.
Wednesday our sign will be coming down. That one is going to be a moment for me for sure. I think I will not do mascara that day.
