Home Interior Consignments - Georgetown

Consignments are split 50/50 between Home Interior Consignments and the consignor. We take away the hassle of selling furniture on your own. You don't have to advertise, take calls, wait for people to show up at your house or listen to annoying complaints about your furniture. STEPS FOR CONSIGNING: 1. Schedule an appointment by phone or in person for a free appraisal of your furniture's current market value. No appointment is needed for accessories. They may be brought in at your convenience on a Monday or Wednesday. 2. Make arrangements with appraiser for pick-up or call the store to schedule a pick-up.If you prefer to bring in your furniture, please call for times when consignments are accepted. 3. Consigned items are listed on a consignment contract. Check your consignment contract to verify that all your items are listed. We work very hard to insure that all items are listed; however, we receive hundreds of items per week, so, make sure your list is accurate. 4. Please make note of the day you consigned. If you do not wish for unsold items to be donated, you are responsible for giving the store notice 1 week prior to the end of your 90 day contract. Once your contract is terminated, items will not be stored for more than 7 days. After 7 days, they will be donated. MARKDOWN SCHEDULE: 1st month Price for 30 days will be the price listed on consignment sheet. 2nd month Price will be 20% off price listed on consignment sheet. 3rd month Price will be 50% off price listed on consignment sheet. Payments are processed on the last day of the month for all previous months sales. Checks for less than $10.00 will not be printed. Checks will be available for pick-up at Home Interior Consignments unless consignor has moved out of area. PICK UP AND DELIVERY: Home Interior Consignments will be glad to assist in the coordination of independent movers. These movers set their own prices. Pick-up fees are deducted from sales. No payment is required up front. Delivery fees are paid to movers at the time of delivery.
