I have been doing maintenance on and off for about 15 years now. I have a building maintenance certificate from 2003 from a school (Woodrow Wilson Center) in Fishersville, Virginia. That is where I studied Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and HVAC. I have a 608 and 609 EPA Certification allowing me to purchase and carry refrigerant. My strengths right now are Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing. I am wanting to better acquaint myself with HVAC work. I am seeking to make this a full time thing. I may change the name from Chris's Maintenance to Zepherius Maintenance only because I have recently found Chris's Maintenance has been taken. Zepherius (pronounced Zef-ur-I-us) was a name I came up in my early days as a maintenance technician. I have worked for a couple of companies in the 15 years doing maintenance mainly doing apartment maintenance. From my experience Painting, repairing doors, replacing faucets, replacing faucets, replacing toilets, replacing receptacles, running wires, grounds-keeping, laying tile, replacing grout, repairing appliances (including Refrigerators). replacing cabinet hinges, repairing cabinets, Replacing or repairing light fixtures, installing an outlet, installing a light fixture, putting up fence, installing a roof, replacing an A/C unit or Repairing one (least experience) Most times A/C issues are related to capacitors or coil cleanliness I'm not a pro at A/C work although if you need someone to look at it I would be glad to take a look at it. I'm sure there is several more on here that are not described. I do try to keep the amount I charge as low as humanly possible without breaking myself in the process. I do charge a small fuel fee outside of Georgetown/Sun City area only because I pay for my own fuel, and I do charge a small fee to do work high up (ladder work). Only because I do not own a truck at the present moment. (Something I have been working on.) I am about keeping things honest as humanly possible so quotes at times may change in price depending on what has to be done and if there are obstacles that need to be gone around. All I intend to do with my business is make a living. There are some cases where I would be willing to trade my labor (such as in the case of a vehicle (truck or van) I can work out of preferably a truck). I do guarantee my work for 30 days. my guarantee does not cover incidental damages (i.e. things done on purpose). It does cover leaks, non-incidentals (shorts), manufacturing malfunctions (i.e. you purchase a dishwasher and notice after a week it starts to leak from the seals you get in touch with your purchaser, your purchaser sends you a new dishwasher and I will install it at no charge to you.) I currently work for 2 massage places as a maintenance tech Ayurva Wellness Massage and Yoga in Cedar Park, and La Vida Massage in Pflugerville.
