Installed 5 mini splits the other day. With no exterior doors on the house and being 45 outside, the units still warmed the inside up to a comfortable 70 degrees !

The really cheap outdoor units use horrible parts. This "Soft Start" blew up and caught fire.

Make sure your flue pipe has a screen cover on the end to keep the dirt dobbers out. They will build a nest and lock up your draft inducer, shutting off your heat.

Installed a couple of ductless air conditioning systems a few weeks ago. Sweet units for not alot of cost... and heatpumps as well !
