I absolutely love these two newly painted pieces I just finished. Both are for sale. The first is an antique dresser that can be used as a beautiful changing table and dresser for a girls nursery. I every so slightly did an ombré technique on the pink drawers. The top drawers are lighter, the middle just a hint darker and the bottom is slightly darker. The body is in a grey tone. Beautiful drawer liners in this one. The second piece is also an antique and has a unique set of drawers on the top. Great for storing you personal belongings such as a wallet, watch, jewelry etc. I added new cup style drawer pulls and I left the original wood exposed on each drawer. The color is called Ash.

A few pieces I painted for my daughter Krista for her new home. I am so proud of her. Only 23 years old and she purchased her very own townhouse. A few before and afters. Also, my wonderful husband Tim Payne built the benches for the dining table.

I was very busy this weekend waiting for the arrival of my granddaughter. Since she has decided not to grace us with her presence this weekend I decided to paint a few pieces furniture that have been sitting in my garage. I love them all! The vintage chair was a chore. But I love how it turned out. I have read lots of post about painting fabric with Fusion Mineral paint. So I thought I would give it a try. The stripes aren’t perfect but I think that gives it character. Thank you Aimee Staley for the cabinet! I think it turned out awesome! The transfer on the 80 + year old table was only my second try at this. I definitely think it adds to a otherwise boring table top.

Finally posting pictures of the furniture I painted for my granddaughter that is expected to arrive in a few days. Yep.....

Finally posting pictures of the furniture I painted for my granddaughter that is expected to arrive in a few days. Yep...I’m gonna be a Nana! I think little miss Arya will be able to grow with this furniture for many years. Painted with Fusion Mineral paint. Color is Raw Silk. Lightly distressed.
