Although we are moving back to Cleveland, we know that we left a mark here in Garfield Heights.
We absolutely love our clients, supporters, and the residents who stood beside us. That will never change. Our business will continue servicing Cleveland and the surrounding communities, including our customers in Garfield Heights. However, when it comes to our community impact efforts, our primary focus is shifting back to Cleveland.
The reason is simple: Love, support & opportunity
In Cleveland, we have received support from residents, city leadership, the administration, the police department, community organizations, and countless individuals who believe in our mission. We have seen firsthand what can happen when people work together toward a common goal. That’s how we know Cleveland is where our greatest opportunities to create impact exist.
What we never expected was the level of negativity we experienced last year from leadership in Garfield Heights. The experience was disappointing, eye-opening, and at times outright disgusting. The lies, being called trash to our face by the mayor, the lack of support, the attempts to take advantage of our efforts, and the resistance to positive change showed us exactly where we stood.
When we spoke up about litter, people listened. When we spoke up about the lack of activities and opportunities for youth, people listened. When we challenged the status quo and demanded better for the community, people listened.
That is exactly why you are starting to see more programming for youth and efforts for cleaner streets in Garfield. Prior to us standing up - no one cared in leadership. In fact - it was thought that the basketball court was enough. We told the Mayor that kids need more opportunities because not all (blk) kids play basketball. Out of the mouth of Burke himself “litter is everywhere eh” when we offered solutions for the filthy streets.
Now we are seeing conversations happen and changes being made that weren’t being discussed before. We know what happened.
What we went through simply for trying to make a difference in the city was despicable. It never had to be that way. No community group, no children trying to improve their neighborhoods, and no residents advocating for change should have to endure what we endured. But that’s what happens when you have a leader who care more about keeping people in the dark.
Still, we are grateful.
We are grateful that so many people were able to see the truth for themselves. We are grateful for those who recognized our intentions and understood that our mission has always been about creating cleaner neighborhoods, empowering youth, and building stronger communities.
The experience taught us an important lesson: not everyone wants change. Not everyone supports children making a difference. Not everyone understands the power of a community working together toward something bigger than themselves. Not everyone believes…
But we do.

We pray that someone steps forward and truly leads Garfield Heights with the residents’ best interests at heart because the people of this city deserve that. They deserve someone who truly care. And not someone who care because they are in competition with children or competing for impact and attention.
Goodbye Garfield Heights! ❤️
