Emergency engineering/fab project for Mark Rober. They had supplier issues so they called Marcos to see if we could get a "rocket swing" built in a week! I designed and sourced the parts in a day, and then we drove to Mountain View and built it in another. Mark does amazing things for these kids. Support his channel and so he can keep it going!

Check it out! Latest Truckla video is up and running. I can finally talk about the tailgate I designed. Had a great time building it with Marcos. It uses 2 tesla trunk latches that unlatch with the original buttons. The hardest part was the mechanism that holds the tailgate at 90 degrees so you can slide it out. Overall I am pretty happy with it. I will do a follow up video soon to show how it all works.

My process for mounting the Hyper9 in the toyota pickup. So far, everything is bolt in with no mods to the truck. Hoping to have the same success with the battery pack and other components. So far, so good.

The simpBMS is a battery management system that uses the original Tesla bms boards to monitor battery health. It is an affordable option at around $900. Using this on the 86 Toyota pickup conversion project with Kai, Electrolux.

Quick trip to Bamcore to give a presentation on the new lift I am designing for them (not the vac lift in the vid but that thing is cool 🤓). They have a bamboo core panel that is sustainably grown and eliminates the need for studs in home construction. Small arms and hurricane proof as well! Pretty cool product. Stopped by the ranch for a check in on a new top secret project, and got to check out Trucklas new shoes. Much improved look I think. Love my job...
