I was contacted to make a repair to this vintage French Mother of Pearl caddy. It came to the owner broken in Sacramento. Mother of pearl are one of a kind pieces of work. Making the proper repair is time consuming. The crack will never go away but getting the old
glue repair minimized the best one could hope for without a matching shell to replace.

The black and gold sitting room. I transformed the room from painted wall and stained trim into a Black lacquer, 23.5 CT gold leaf raised trim wainscoating with coffer ceiling, 1x12 freeze 1x12 crown , a room for a king.
