On December 5th in Georgia, the Buford Holiday Festival & Parade brings a full day of Christmas fun to historic downtown Buford! This annual celebration runs from 9 AM to 3 PM, beginning with a festive parade along Main Street. From 9 to 10 AM, you can watch decorated floats, marching bands, local groups, and other holiday parade participants make their way from Tannery Row Ale House toward Hill Street, with Santa Claus joining the celebration! Once the parade wraps up, the street festival gets underway at 301 East Main Street, running from 10 AM until 3 PM. You'll find rows of local vendors selling handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, gifts, and other goodies, along with food trucks and stands serving tasty festival treats. Throughout the day, the entertainment stage will feature local performers, music, and holiday tunes from a DJ. There will also be a hula hoop contest, parade awards, and a holiday dog costume contest where pups show off their Christmas outfits! Families can enjoy activities for the kids and opportunities for photos with Santa. Admission is free, making this a wonderful way to enjoy Christmas in downtown Buford!
