Day 6 - This is pieceof embroidery I did, the pattern is called ‘Marble.’ Hopefully I will have a small series of these done and for sale this summer. These take a while to make. The pattern is done with a stitch called Satin Stitch, and it’s literally sewn with one strand of thread at a time. The end result is stunning though and well worth the time and patience!

Day 5- This piece was titled; “Summer Crush.”Certainly wishing summer would reappear soon. A lovely local purchased this from the Shoppe, is anyone else ready to experience a summer crush yet?

Today I nominate The Haus of Christy as my featured artist. I met Christy at an art retreat a couple of years ago. She is based out of Texas, she has some incredible work. Day 4- This project is actually a personal one, my daughter graduates today and she will have her Estheticians license. She asked me to decorate her graduation cap and gave me ideas of what she wanted and this is our finished results!

Day 3 - I’m running behind! So please forgive me, but I’m still chugging along!! Today I’m posting some of my favorite embroideries that I’ve done, these happen to be hanging in my own home.

Today I nominate Nancy Leiva. Nancy is a canvas artist and she is color blind. She can see blue though very well and a lot of her paintings showcase beautiful hues of blues in her incredible art!

A good art friend, Restyled Lemons nominated me for this a little over 2 weeks ago. I’m just now getting to it. But I didn’t want to not follow through even though so much time has past. But in full disclosure, life sure has been hard. Full of transitions and sickness, I still feel like I have to scrape myself up off the ground most days! We have had ear infection tons, strep throat, flu, bronchitis that needed treated multiple times and let’s not even start talking about the harsh winter here in the Alleganies and the debilitating seasonal depression that it creates. But I’m trying so hard to climb back onto the horse. I appreciate all of my followers and LOYAL customers! You all make my dreams a reality with every purchase you make- Now let’s start having some fun!!🎨🖌️

We have a big announcement to make! We will be closing our storefront and I will be transitioning back to my private studio space. We will still be out and about as soon as we clear out of the shop for Paint and Sips and projects. This means that we will also keep our website & Facebook shop updated with current available merchandise. We are working with other artists in the area to collaborate on having some of our pieces for sale around town. We will keep you updated through social media once this happens.

Start making plans to come out to Fall in Love with Frostburg kick off weekend Saturday, September 30th. Not only will our town have lots of funs stuff happening and live music throughout, and outdoor vendors but this will be our last day open. We will have the absolute lowest prices we've had all year long. Furniture will be marked down, a select amount Wise Owl Chalk Paint, embroidery, home décor, clothing, and I'm hoping to get one more batch of our vintage soy candles made and also feature them at a great sale price. Nothing is off the table and we will consider all offers for the remaining furniture in the shop. Everything must go, including our antique door tables. We will also have our studio room set up with a 'tent sale' that will be full of gently used shop items for sale.
I want to thank everyone who has supported our shop or attended an event this past year. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
I have decided to create a slowed down season for myself and my family. Both of our daughters are transitioning in their lives and will need additional supports from us and family is my priority in this life.
I will still be taking commissions on furniture. This is not the end of us, and I do intend to open another store in the future. I am looking forward to some new adventures, like starting my YouTube channel for Greyy Mist filled with tutorials and DIY fun.
We already have great sales running in the store. Come out to see us before the doors close.
Our hours for the remainder of the month will be; Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00. If you would like to stop by outside of these hours, please contact us to make an appointment.

We’ve been M.I.A on social media for a couple of weeks, more on that later! In the mean time, just know we have been working on putting together amazing events for you, like this one hosted by Western Maryland’s very own Charis Winery & Distillery. This event is bound to be one of our funnest yet, we hope to see you there to partake in fellowship and community over some A-mazing wine, oh- and some painting too!😉🍷
