This is very true!

We’ve been getting a lot of texts about this lately.

Feeders with animals that won’t eat consistently, aren’t gaining, and aren’t staying fresh…

But they are being hauled every weekend.

At some point, you’ve got to be honest about what’s going on. Travel, stress, being off feed... it all adds up. And it’s really hard for one to move forward when they’re constantly trying to catch back up.

Sometimes, the best move is staying home for a weekend or two and letting them reset.

But if you’re set on going, you need to support them in a way that actually replaces what they’re giving away in the process.

That’s where supplements like Gold Dust and Chocolate Milk Mix come in. They’re calorie-dense, easy to get in them, and built to help keep one fresh and gaining; even when the schedule doesn’t slow down.

You can’t expect your project to keep up if you’re not helping them recover.

Quick check-in!

How many days until your county fair?

And here’s something to think about…

That number matters more than you may realize.

If you’re making feed changes or adding supplements, you’re not working with unlimited time. Most nutritional changes take 45–60 days to really show up.

Hair? That’s even longer. You’re looking at closer to 90–120 days to see a true difference.

So if you’re getting down to the wire, it’s not about throwing everything at them... it’s about being intentional with what you can still control.

A good read!!

Barn Tip: with Hayes Henderson

Based on Hayes Barn Tip and Chloee's daily habit. Hair is key! Out of the ring is when hair care matters the most. That is where it develops and grows.

So true!!!

So true!!!

What you pay for one doesn’t decide how it ends.

You can spend a pile of money on a good one and still mess it up; get inconsistent, miss the details, get a little lazy with feed or care and watch it fall apart faster than you’d think.

And we’ve all seen the opposite.

One that didn’t cost much, maybe got overlooked early on, but someone put the time into it. Fed it right. Stayed consistent. Paid attention.

And it turns into something pretty dang good.

This game isn’t won in the sale ring. It’s won in the barn… day by day, decision by decision.

What you start with matters, but how you manage it matters a whole lot more.
