We have been in business, here in the Twin Cities area, since January 2006. Our head upholsterer has been in the upholstery industry for over 45
years. She has worked with major designers in Dallas, TX, Fort Wayne, IN &
here in the Twin Cities. We are a family operated business, and we would
like to show you what we are all about.



1. Set up your "No Obligation" Appointment, by calling in or e

-mailing.



2. Pay deposit and schedule a time for us to come and pick up your
piece of furniture.



3. Once deposit is paid, we order all supplies (fabric, springs,
decorative nails, etc.)



4. Depending on the project, we will then start stripping the fabric off,
down to the frame. Removing all nails, staples and all of the old supplies
that were first used.



5. Once we are down to the frame, we check to make sure that are
loose springs are tightened and all legs are tightened. Also we make sure
that any other part of your piece of furniture that may need some extra
attention is checked, as well.



6. Once we receive fabric, we will then start cutting according to the
project.



7. Once all the pieces are cut out, then we will upholster according to
your project.



8. Once finished we have your piece of furniture go through a rigorous
checklist, to make sure that everything is in place and all loose strings are
clipped and it is perfect. Each piece is different, as you can see in Figure 4,
for dining room chairs we touch up the wood, just an extra touch that will
get you that look you are looking for.



9. We will call you and set up a delivery time to get you your piece of
furniture. Keep in mind that due to work that we have coming in and the high quality
and service that we provide, we are two week time frame for pick ups. So
from the time that we have our appointment with you, we are scheduling all
pickups at least two weeks after.

With out this lady, my mama on the right I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today. Most kids don’t have any interest in what the parents do or did. Today I can look back and be so thankful for all mom shared with me. What started out to be a fun little adventure of learning the upholstery industry has turned into some something so much more. Mom, Crystal or myself really did not yet understood the possibilities of where the business could go. Mom you would be so happy to know that we are all staying busy. All the guys are still working and doing a wonderful job. You would like the new guys working with us too. Every now and then we will have some good talks about your time coming into the office.

A day doesn’t go by where I walk into the office and wonder how she would be doing today. What little sewing project she might be working on. I’d bring lunch and mom would warm up our lunch for us. Those days are missed. I have so much to be thankful for. Love and miss you mom! Your daughter, friend and upholstery partner always.

The Professional Upholsterers Association Minnesota (PUAM) gathered at Charlotte Fabrics for its April monthly meeting.

Everyone embarked on a guided tour of the aesthetically designed showroom and warehouse, which boasts an impressive collection of over 10,000 fabrics. Elliot Gensler then shared valuable insights into the current fabric trends.

The evening drew to a close with a sneak peek at the new Performance fabrics, generating considerable interest among those present.
