Paul Cook – Vice President Network Services
As the Executive of the Network Services Group, Paul manages the Custom Systems service relationship with our clients. He provides virtual CIO services, cybersecurity guidance, and strategic IT vision for our clients in the Northeast. He directly manages the Network Services Group consultants and engineers.
Paul’s background in IT began over 20 years ago managing IT operations for process manufacturers’ handling and transporting hazardous waste, EPA certified testing laboratories and industrial product distributors. Paul specializes in designing secure network solutions for Small and Medium Business leveraging new technology with Public Cloud services from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services. On-premise infrastructure is focused on Hyper converged solutions to improve reliability and add redundancy to your network. His cybersecurity work in recent years has been providing initial IT Ransomware remediation, response and security improvements post attack. Several ransom transactions have been paid in excess of $100,000.
Recent small business projects include guiding Cybersecurity Initiatives for NIST, DFARS, and CMMC certification for DOD contractors and small business suppliers with federal and state contracts.
Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Management from Temple University, and has held various certifications from Citrix, Microsoft -Servers and Networking, Microsoft 365 and Amazon AWS. In his free time Paul enjoys surf fishing, working on a 30-year-old Miata, and tinkering with a lifelong hobby of ham radio.
David Bubb – Senior Enterprise Consultant
As the Sales Director, Dave manages the non-technical relationships with our clients. He manages the sales process to ensure that customers and prospects are presented with solutions that meets their needs and with approvals leads the transition to the technical teams prior to work commencing.
Dave has extensive knowledge and experience with software licensing and manages the process of tracking licenses and required upgrades and renewals allowing customers to stay focused on their business IT goals.
Prior to joining Custom Systems in 2001, Dave worked in telephony sales. Prior to that was a Sales and Front Desk Manager in the hotel industry.
