Something new! Available in May at Freeport Market Place of Maine craft in Freeport ,Maine.
These Santas are hand carved from Swamp Cyprus Knees. Notice the before and after pix. Cyprus Knees come from the Cyprus trees that grow in the swamps down south. If one were to look at the tree in its environment, you'd see these "spires" protruding from the water around the tree. Nobody is sure of their purpose. Some suspect they grow to provide oxygen to the roots during high water. It's important to know that these are harvested in a way not to be detrimental to the tree. Prices will run from 125$- 250$
