"Diving into the world of hard candy magic, where sugar turns into festive gems! ✨ Stirring up Christmas cheer, one sweet batch at a time. 🍬🎄 "

* 2 cups sugar
* 2/3 cup corn syrup
* 3/4 cup water
* food coloring if desired
* 1 teaspoon flavoring oil if desired, I use cinnamon
* 1/4 cup powdered sugar
* In a 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
* Over medium heat, stir just until the sugar is dissolved. Do not stir again.
* Heat until the mixture reaches 260 degrees F.
* Add food coloring, if desired.
* Continue to boil until the mixture reaches 300 degrees F.
* Remove from heat and add flavoring oil, if desired. Do not lean over the pot when you add the oil!! The steam can burn.
* Stir until combined.
* Pour into a quarter baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray or lined with parchment.
* Let the candy sit so it can harden. Brake into bitesized pieces and toss with powdered sugar.
* OR pour into candy molds and allow to harden.
* OR pour free-form candies onto parchment paper. I find this is easier after the mixture has cooled just slightly, about 1 minute.

"Diving into a fudge-making adventure – because sometimes, you just need a little square of happiness. Stirring up joy, one chocolatey batch at a time! 🍫😋 "

8” square panMedium potSpatulaAluminum foil or parchment paper
1 teaspoon butter softened4 cups chocolate chips* (720g)2 (14-ounce/396g) can sweetened condensed milk
* Fully line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with aluminum foil or parchment paper so the bottom and sides are covered and excess hangs over the sides of the pan. Rub the butter all over the foil or parchment to help it peel off later.
* Add the chocolate chips and condensed milk to a medium saucepan. Place over low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth and thick, about 5 minutes.
* Scoop the chocolate mixture into your prepared dish and smooth it with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Set aside to cool completely and set, about 3 hours, or chill for 2 hours.
* When your fudge has set, remove the slab from the baking dish by peel lifting up the foil using the excess as handles. Peel off the foil and cut the fudge into squares with a sharp knife. You can enjoy the fudge immediately or wrap it in parchment or wax paper and store it in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

"‘Tis the season for secrets – and by secrets, I mean that elusive Christmas cookie recipe that transforms kitchens into winter wonderlands. Share the sweetness, spread the joy! 🍪🎅 "

1 cup unsalted butter , room temperature
2/3 cup + 3 tablespoons granulated sugar , divided
2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour , spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional, but recommended)
rainbow sprinkles or nonpareils (optional, but recommended) I love them!

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, using a handheld electric mixer, beat together butter and 2/3 cup sugar until combined. (It will be a little gritty – that's ok.)
Add in flour and blend well (then blend in the vanilla, if using.)
Using a cookie scoop, roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
Gently roll the balls in the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar until lightly coated; transfer to the baking sheets 2 inches apart.
With the bottom of a measuring cup or glass, press down on the balls to flatten. Sprinkle with some nonpareils (if using) and lightly press down again just so they stick. (The dough should end up being between an 1/8-1/4 inch thick, so 3/16 to be exact. They will look pretty small in circumference, but they will spread a bit to a normal size cookie.)
Bake for 14-16 minutes or until just slightly golden around the edges and on the bottom.
Remove form the oven and let rest on the baking sheets for at least 10-15 minutes (don't skip this step!) Then eat or transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Enjoy!
