I know this isn’t furniture related, but I must have a few fellow lilac lovers here. 💜

We had some pretty strong wind and storms come through this week, and unfortunately, the largest blooming branch on my Miss Kim lilac bush snapped right off.

Rather than letting those beautiful blooms go to waste, I brought them inside, trimmed the stems, and tucked them into a simple glass jar.

Now my whole house smells absolutely amazing.

One of the things I love most about this old cottage is bringing little bits of the outdoors inside. Fresh lilacs on the table, birds at the feeders, sunshine through the windows… it’s the simple things that make a house feel like home.

Tell me I’m not the only one who stops to smell the lilacs every time I walk by! 💜🌿

Booth refresh complete! 💚

I brought in a new hutch, added two new furniture pieces, and ended up rearranging and restaging my entire booth at Simply Shiplap yesterday. Sometimes one new piece turns into moving absolutely everything! 😂

I’m noticing that these cozy cottage-inspired greens keep finding their way into my furniture lately, and thankfully you all seem to love them as much as I do.

Well… maybe cottage green really is having a moment! 💚

I’m excited to share that two pieces recently found new homes, including this sweet cottage shelf and one of my favorite buffets. Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business. Every purchase, share, comment, and word-of-mouth recommendation helps more than you know.

As these pieces head out, I’m bringing in two new pieces… and yes, they’re green too! 🌿 I have to admit, it makes me happy to see that so many of you seem to love those soft, cozy cottage colors as much as I do.

I’ve also got a few more projects in the works, but with vacation coming up next week, some of them may not make it into the booth until I get back. Don’t worry though, there is plenty more to come!

Thank you for following along, supporting my creativity, and giving me the opportunity to keep doing what I love. Seeing these pieces find homes where they’ll be enjoyed for years to come never gets old.

Looking for something fun to do this Saturday night? Since it’s supposed to be cold and rainy, it’s actually the perfect excuse for a cozy shopping night indoors! ☔🛍️

Come visit us at Simply Shiplap for a special Late Night Shopping Event this Saturday, May 30th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (and later if shoppers are still browsing 😊).

One of the featured vendors, hogwashnrhinestones will be hosting the event and offering 20% off everything in their booth, plus snacks, drinks, and styling tips!

Some pieces are harder to let go of than others… and these were definitely two of them 🤍

When I started working on this cottage hutch and dining set, I honestly kept thinking about how perfect they would look in my own home. The soft sage green, the daisy details, the warm wood tops… this set just felt so cozy and happy to me from the beginning.

But one of my favorite parts of doing what I do is seeing someone else fall in love with a piece the same way I did. Knowing these pieces found a new home where they’ll be enjoyed every day makes all the hard work worth it.

Now I guess I’ll just have to create another cottage dining set for myself someday once I finally part with my bigger pieces 😂

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

Memorial Day is more than cookouts and the start of summer. It’s a time to pause and reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice that gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day.

To the families carrying the memories of loved ones lost in service, we are forever grateful.❤️

Wishing everyone a meaningful and peaceful Memorial Day as we remember those who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Come take a little virtual tour of my booth at Fab Finds & Furniture in Foxborough! 🌿✨

I put together a full walkthrough video showing everything I currently have in the booth, including lots of cottage-style decor, furniture, florals, garden-inspired goodies, and my new Five Willows Candle Company collection that I am absolutely loving right now.

I also refreshed the Milkhouse Candle Company Candle Bar and refilled all the wax bead buckets with fresh scents so they’re ready for more candle making fun! I do have one more scent to bring in later this week because apparently I left one of the bead bags at home. 😂

Since it’s supposed to be rainy for the next couple of days… that sounds like perfect cozy shopping weather to me. Just saying. ☔🛍️

Spa day was a success over here today 🐾☀️🛁
With the heat sticking around, the pups got baths on the deck followed by some well-deserved lounging in the sunshine. Fresh towels, warm breezes, and a little extra pampering made for a pretty perfect afternoon. I think they’ve decided this should become a regular thing 😂💗
