About Excalibur Knife Works

My name is Corey Johnson of Excalibur Knifeworks of Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Recently, I retired after over 30 years of public service and decided to start my sharpening business. I have been a woodworker in my spare time for over 20 years and along with that goes maintaining and sharpening various tools. I will continue my woodworking along with the sharpening business.

Concerning your sharpening needs, I am able to place a beveled edge consistent with a factory grind on your lawnmower blade and properly balance said blade to avoid premature repair costs associated with an improper sharpened and out of balance mower blade. I am offering a mobile service for an added trip charge or you may feel free to bring your blades to my residence.

I am also sharpening chainsaw chains which consists of a thorough cleaning and inspection of said chain prior to the sharpening process. Once complete, your chain will be sharpened and lubricated prior to return. Note: Please remove the chain from the chainsaw prior to delivery for the sharpening process.

I am available for all your sharpening needs from your most delicate kitchen cutlery, to your hunting and fishing knives, to your garden loppers. For those with sharpening needs in the office, I offer sharpening services for scissors and guillotine style paper cutters.
