Cleaning Tip of the Day:

So, over the years your home has become a "little" unorganized....It's ok...there's a method for the MADNESS!

Step 1) (Breath) Get a sheet of paper and give yourself 30 minutes to walk around your home and jot down what needs to be organized in each room.

*Break your list down to the smallest drawer that needs to be organized. The list, even with the tinniest of details, will serve as your plan of action.

Step 2) DO NOT try to figure out a way to salvage items!!! Sometimes, your old items need a new home! Sometimes your old items need to be THROWN AWAY!!!!!!

*This goes for food as well. If the can has a date of "2004" as the expiration date, let it go! No telling what bacteria is brewing under that lid.

Step 3) Pick a Room for each day of the week to organize & only organize for 2 hours out of each day. Hey, it took 2+ years for your home to become unorganized...so don't try to tackle it all in one day. Doing so will make you feel overwhelmed and you might quit before you even get started.

Day 6) You should be completely back on track and enjoying your new home!! & If you're not....Call Clean Dorm and we'll do it for you!!!

Cleaning Tip of the Day!:

Ever spilt a RED drink onto your carpet?? Have no fear...all you need is some Clear Vodka to get the stain up!

1) Soon after wasting the drink, press paper towels into the red stained carpet to soak up as much liquid as possible.
2) Pour clear vodka onto the stain
3) Get some more paper towels in order to soak up the vodka and the remaining residue of the red drink!

Notes:
*NEVER RUB OVER THE STAIN, it will only make the stain larger and harder to soak up.
* The vodka won't eat away at your carpet, but instead just react with the red drink that's wasted onto it. With that said, don't use bleach!!! Bleach will burn away at your carpet.
