The °element Designs team recently had the opportunity to visit Blum for a hands-on training and tour focused on the hardware, hinge systems, and solutions that help bring cabinetry to life.

There’s always value in stepping outside our own facility, learning from industry partners, and seeing the engineering & processes behind the products we work alongside every day.

One detail stayed with me long after I left the Closet Design Expo this week.

It wasn’t the largest booth or the boldest product introduction. It was the collaboration of two high quality vendors, specializing in cabinet doors and drawers.

While I had visited EcoDomo and Element Designs Kitchen Bath Industry Show , this smaller “Closet-centric” Expo in Palm Beach, gave me the opportunity to speak to the people behind the craft, who quietly explained why they insist on the best quality and continue to innovate and personalize their products. Each door or drawer front is truly a work of art, and while the lead time increases, the result is well-worth the wait.

It reminded me that luxury has never been about speed. It’s about creativity with care. I think clients feel that difference, even when they can’t immediately explain why.
