Project 1607 in Lauderdale Harbors, Fort Lauderdale. We built solid White Oak treads finished with a clear polyurethane finish. All treads are mounted from underneath inside the steel string to hide all fasteners. Install was slow but results were worth it.

Our latest stairway project we completed for Ritos Development. Went with Solid red oak for this staircase, finished Antique Walnut polyurethane chosen by the new owner. They wanted the entryway to tie in with the front door. So we come up with red oak plywood panels, sectioned to match the door profile. From our testing with stain samples it all worked out that the chosen finish to the staircase and panels was a very close match to the front door tying entry thru to the second level

Floating walnut staircase we’ve been working on for the last couple weeks. It’s an exciting job, letting us be responsible for the show piece on the entry to the upper level on this home gives us a lot of pride.

Mackinnon Built want to thank from for coming to the rescue of our good clients and providing them with free decking after left them high and dry from their very very sub standard decking. In the latter photo you can see extreme molding but the framing dry from moisture. We expressed this thru our suppliers and they helped us to try and get a south Florida rep to discuss the issue, but they did nothing. So stepped up and provided us with Slate grey and Kona to revive their dream deck and continue great south Florida living. It can’t be spoken enough to do a little research and use a quality, professional and personable deck manufacturer
