Also a shout out to the professionals over at Midway Sheds in Witney Point for moving it safely into place. I couldn't be happier with how this is shaping up. 😁

Picked up these lovely round end tables recently. Extremly flakey faux finish on top and some damage and missing hardware as well. Unfortunately these are not as vintage as I first thought they were and the wood underneath is a light veneer. Normally I like to restore pieces to their original condition but since these are less than 20 years old and the faux finish WAS the original I need to get a bit more creative!

Leaning towards a painted with wood drawers approach. What color though...I'm thinking either black or white for the carcass and either whitewash or natural or stain for the drawers. I'm taking suggestions. What would you like to see these pieces transformed into?

Just picked up this badly damaged octagonal side table for restoration. Chipped/missing veneer, cigarette burns in the leather and drawers in a questionable state. Lets see if I can bring her back to her former glory!

I'm going to put this one on the back burner until I skill up a bit more as it's turned out to be a proper antique piece and I want to do it justice.

Finished! Piano bench stripped and finished with semi-gloss lacquer and original needlepoint seat attached.

Getting back in to furniture refinishing. This is a water damaged table with an oak veneer top. Thought it was solid oak at first but turned out to just be really thick veneer - thankfully. Before and after.

Crocheted fancy face scrubber I made. It's not for sale yet, just seeing if people like it. Its about 3" in diameter and made with cotton yarn, reusable, washable and eco friendly alternative to disposable makeup wipes.

This is a handmade knitted pumpkin in the bright orange colour that you usally associate with pumpkins at Halloween. It is made of a double layer of knitted fabric and stuffed with hi loft polyester stuffing. It is finished with a removable birch bark stem with a little twin ribbon tied on.

If you're not into cat bu****le coasters (and to be fair they're not to everyone's taste!) I also make these Celtic knot designed knitted coasters.

These coasters are a bright, vibrant lime green on the front and on the back they have a sturdy foam backing in black. This makes them a lot more substantial and stable when compared to other knitted or crocheted coasters which do not have a backing. They are made of 100% mercerised cotton yarn
