We are having a super sweet sale this Weds/Thurs! This one is a little different than usual. There are a few everyday furniture pieces (side chairs, table, LaZBoy rocker/recliner) and garage items (yard tools, Craftsman snowblower, Toro lawn mower) However, its the Unique, Antique, and Primitives that shine here.The list is plentiful: Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine w/case, several nice ammo boxes including Wi******er and Re*****on, antique umbrella stand w/marble, marble top wash stands, primitive cabinets, gorgeous stained glass floor lamp, old trunks, wood chairs, a large MCM dresser/cabinet with fantastic craft room potential, and then there are the FRAMES. Huge collection of antique picture frames of varying sizes and conditions...some with fantastic artwork already, others just waiting for your creativity. Elaine was a restorer of these antique pieces, some are in excellent condition, others were in her to-do pile.

We are out of our normal territory this week, but it will be well worth your time to take a trip over to Webster City. This home is FULL of beautiful, interesting, unique, and collectible items. Since it's getting to be that time of year, there are lots of different yard decor items, including wagon wheels, cement statues, planters, benches, a nice patio set and more. Inside there is a wide variety of furniture pieces, something for every taste. Furniture includes: neutral (like-new) couch, nice dining table w/6 chairs, Split King Size Serta adjustable bed (barely used), mid century bedroom sets, gorgeous antique acorn pull dresser, antique side tables, marble top wash stand, hutches, curios, side chairs, and more! Collectible items include: Red Wing crocks, Roseville pottery pieces, Lladro figurines, south west and Native American decor, Pyrex, uranium glass, Willow Tree Nativity and figures, Christmas village pieces, so many beautiful antique books, Longaberger baskets, a large variety of pottery pieces (including Red Wing), Fenton, lots of Christmas.
Other items of note: KitchenAid mixer, sewing machine, large hand painted hurricane lamp, variety of table settings (sets of 12).

Happy New Year to all of our Helping Hands customers! Our first sale of the year is this week and it has something for everyone. There is a nice selection of Webster County memorabilia, along with stoneware, vtg quilts, and primitive items. Furniture includes curios, recliners, couches, tables, dressers, desks, end tables, full size bed, and more. There are nice outdoor decor items, cute bistro set, yard tools, woodburner, John Deere corn sheller, fishing poles, also 2 older mowers and a tiller (unknown if they work). A few smaller Terry Redlin prints, vtg sheet music, and quilting items are also available.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our Helping Hands customers! We have a fantastic sale this week, perfect for all of those last minute Christmas gifts! There are so many cute decor items, there was no way to get a picture of all of them. Furniture pieces include: several farmhouse style tv stands, including one with a fireplace insert. Nice dining table w/ 8 chairs, several cube storage units of all sizes, king size bed, full size beds, day bed w/trundle, side tables, futon, super cute entryway coat rack/bench, and more! Also in this sale are brand new w/tags and like new name brand purses (Poppy &Peonies, Lovevook, Dooney & Bourke), 31, nice selection of southwest jewelry (some sterling), rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches. In the garage we have 2 Husquvarna snowblowers, air compressor, lawn/garden items, and more. Outdoor bench, washstand, pots, outdoor decor also.

Hello to all of our Helping Hands customers! Many of you are wondering how life is going to work over the next few weeks, and you are not alone in these thoughts. We at Helping Hands are trying to do everything we can to fulfill contracts to our clients, and in the process provide our loyal customers some great deals while maintaining a safe, germ-free environment. That brings us to our next “sale”. In order to stay within the state and city guidelines, we are going virtual with this sale. How is this going to work? It will definitely be a learning process for all of us, we ask for your patience as we are sure there will be hiccups along the way.

We are posting pictures of the big items that are for sale on our website with their respective price. If you are interested in a certain piece or want to come shop (there are the usual small items in the house that are also for sale like jewelry, HH, kitchen, decor, bedding, etc.) we need you to call and make an appointment. We will start making appointments for Friday afternoon and depending on interest through the weekend. Appointments can also be made for next week. Once again, we were trying to get a feel for things and everything is changing so quickly it's hard to keep up. We did not intend to upset anyone. We have another sale going on this week also! This house is full of new/like-new items. Women's clothing (S/M) and shoes (7-8) with the tags still on! Jewelry-gold, silver, and costume. Furniture-dressers, 2 full beds, dining table, love seat and chair, occasional chairs. Nice household decor, crystal, Precious Moments collection, Crosley record/CD/radio, great record collection (Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Beach Boys, Conway Twitty, many more!) Outdoor decor, snowblower, mower. Lots of great items in this house, don't miss it! Hopefully the weather behaves this week! Thank you to everyone who braved all the snow last week! :)
