3 drawer cabinet update:

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. This piece experienced more than it should have, much more. It had 3 layers of paint over the original finish: green, pink, and finally white on top. And from what I could tell of the original finish, it was a beautiful piece.

Writing desk project update:

2nd coat of polyurethane has been applied. I created a finishing technique for this piece. I first did a burnt finish on the desk. Then, over that, I applied a coat of colonial maple stain, which is also the stain I used on the drawer. The drawer pulls were given the same treatment as the desk. What do you think?
