We are writing to encourage graduate students to register for our new course, GES 535/ LB 535 Foundations of Environmental Justice, with Dr. Dimitris Stevis.

This is the core seminar of the new Graduate Certificate in Environmental Justice. It is intentionally organized to familiarize students with research related to the key themes of Environmental Justice from across perspectives, disciplines, and issue areas. Students will explore these themes through a variety of theoretical literatures and practical examples while weekly guests from around the university will share their research. Students will be able to work on a research project or paper related to their areas of interest.

Faculty from across the university are contributing to this course, both as advisors and contributors. Ask Dr. Stevis or any of these wonderful faculty about it! Core Course Contributors
