We recently spline caned the backs of these chairs as well as stained the backs to match!

Spline caning involves weaving pre-woven cane webbing into a groove around the chair’s frame, secured with a spline. To stain the cane, use a light wood stain, color-match it, and apply it to the underside of the cane to avoid a shiny finish.
