Dear Friends,

It is with mixed emotions, I am writing to announce my upcoming retirement and the closing of my family business, Simply Grande Home Furnishings.

Our doors will be closing early April 2024, however, we will continue to take special orders until February 15, 2024. All special orders will be handled as normal, as we continue our commitment in taking good care of our customers.

Together, with my first partner Mike Mueller, and my incredibly supportive husband, Lou, we opened the doors 29 years ago and set out on an adventure to sell high quality furniture at reasonable prices and to offer the best customer service. Over the years, I have been honored to have my son, L.J., my daughter Kim and an incredible staff by my side.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every day of owning this business and being a part of making so many family homes a great living space. Friends have been clients and clients have become friends. God has truly blessed me in this adventure! I will miss this season of life but am looking forward to all that is to come. I wish all my clients, friends and family the best in 2024.

Family First! Everything we do at Simply Grande revolves around family--yours and ours. We know that our loyal customers will understand that we will be closed on November 3rd and 4th as we celebrate the wedding of our grandson, Michael Thomson to the beautiful Kate Herman. We will reopen on November 6th with our normal hours.
