After refinishing furniture since 2019, here’s one thing I wish I knew when I started:

Not every piece needs to be stripped down to bare wood.

When I first started, I thought every project required hours and hours of sanding. The truth is, many pieces just need a good cleaning, proper prep, and the right products.

Learning that saved me time, frustration, and a whole lot of sandpaper.

Blast from the past — October 2021 ✨

We had gotten so busy at AnitaTrinket that we needed to expand our Fusion Mineral Paint display just to keep more product in stock… and looking back at these photos now honestly makes me emotional. 🥹

What started as a small setup has grown into several amazing years of friendships, support, laughs, learning, and so many wonderful customers. We are incredibly grateful to Anita and her husband for welcoming us into such a special shop and making us feel like part of the family from the very beginning.

As we head into June 2026, I just want to say THANK YOU to all of our local customers who continue to support our little business. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

When I started painting furniture, I never imagined it would lead to friendships around the world.

In a few weeks, Bob and I will be heading to England to visit our friend Sarah from Home Revival. ❤️

It's amazing how a shared love of furniture can bring people together.
